It was thanks to them that India got its independence. August 15 is the day to remember the sacrifices of every freedom fighter. They are paid tribute. Various programs are organized across the country. On August 15, the Prime Minister of India hoists the flag at the Red Fort to celebrate Independence Day and sends his best wishes to all the people of the country.
