A clash broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Three security personnel were killed in the attack.
Security forces launched the operation after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in an area of Halan forest in Kulgam district of southern Kashmir, police officials said. The terrorists opened fire while security forces were searching the area.
Three soldiers were seriously injured in the clash but died while undergoing treatment. The rest of the injured soldiers are undergoing treatment.
