Kamakhya Prasad Tasa has been appointed as the General Secretary of the BJP Central Committee

Kamakhya Prasad Tasar has been appointed to the BJP Central Committee.  BJP President JP Nadda has appointed Tasa as the party's national secretary.
 BJP is busy with its organizational activities in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.  On July 29, 2023, Nadda appointed 13 vice-chairmen of the BJP Central Committee.13 have been appointed as national secretaries.  The only new appointment from Assam is Kamakhya Prasad Tasa.
