The 11th All Assam Tang Chu Du Championship 2023 ended successfully. The tournament was held at Samford Futuristic School, Nalapar, Guwahati for two days. Hundreds of athletes from 16 districts of the state participated in the tournament.
The tournament was inaugurated by Assam Olympic Association Assistant Secretary Bhabjyoti Goswami on the first day of the tournament held on July 22 and 23. The inaugural ceremony was attended by Assam Olympic Association members Biju Ram, Choma Barua, Assam Tang Chu Du Association President Manoranjan Borgohain , Secretary Debajit Gogoi and other office bearers of the association.
Sivasagar district won the first best team award with 23 gold, 15 silver and 19 bronze medals in various categories while Kamrup Metropolitan district won the second place with 12 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals. Goalpara won the best disciplined team title.
