Two women stripped naked and dragged on the street in Manipur, accused of gangrape

A shocking video of two women from violence-hit Manipur being stripped naked and walked around the street is going viral on social media.  According to social media reports, the mob not only stripped her around the area, but also gang-raped her.  Women are reportedly unable to speak after being raped and beaten.
 According to the report, Manipur police have registered a case.  Police confirmed the incident happened on May 4.  The victims came to the police station two weeks after the incident and lodged a complaint.  Manipur CM Biren Singh has ordered an expedited probe into the matter.
 Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani tweeted about the Manipur case.  She wrote, "The horrific video of sexual harassment of 2 women in Manipur is condemnable and utterly inhuman. I have spoken to CM N Biren Singh. He has informed me that investigation is still on. CM has also assured that no effort will be spared to bring the culprits to justice."
