The Assam Police Special Promotion Examination was held in the state

The Assam Police Special Promotion Examination was held on Sunday.  The examination was held for 951 posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (UB) of Assam Police.  This was announced in a tweet by Director General of Assam Police GP Singh.
The special promotion examination is conducted by the SEBA.  The last promotion examination was held in  The examination was held after 19 years and qualified police constables from different parts of the state have sat for the examination.
