The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden in Guwahati is set to undergo a massive revamp to transform it into India's premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts.  The announcement was made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
 Chief Minister Sarma tweeted, "Guwahati Zoo is set to become India's premier destination for wildlife enthusiasts. With an incredible array of flora and fauna, we're on a mission to transform it into the country's finest zoo."  This declaration showcases the government's commitment to enhancing the zoo's facilities and overall experience.
