An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 hit the Tezpur area of Assam today morning, June 9. 
As per official reports, the earthquake with the epicenter lying 39km west of Tezpur in the Sonitpur district hit at around 10:05 AM with a depth of 10 km. 
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) took to Twitter to put out, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.7, Occurred on 09-06-2023, 10:05:59 IST, Lat: 26.60 & Long: 92.40, Depth: 10 km, Location: 39km  of Tezpur, Assam, India.”
