Final results of Higher Secondary Arts, Science and Commerce announced

The results of Higher Secondary Science, Arts and Commerce sections have been announced.  The results were announced by the Higher Secondary Education Council at 9 am on Tuesday after Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma announced the results on Twitter at 2 am on Monday.
 The pass percentage in the Arts category was 70.12 per cent.  A total of 261,231 candidates sat for the Higher Secondary Final Examination in Arts, of whom 28,651 secured first place, 58,869 secured second place and 95,660 secured third place.
 The pass percentage in Science was 84.96 per cent.  The pass rate in Commerce was 79.57 per cent.
