Transformer Catches Fire In Guwahati B Baruah road

A transformer at the Dr B Barooah Road in Guwahati caught fire on Monday afternoon, creating a panic-like situation in the area.
 Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control.
 No loss of life or property was reported in the incident.
 A huge traffic congestion was reported in the area due to the fire.
 Though the exact cause of the fire has not been ascertained till the filing of this report, locals say that a probable short-circuit might have started the fire.
