World Environment Day 2023: Why and how the celebration of World Environment Day began

 World Environment Day 2023 : The environment needs to be kept safe and protected for the safety of people's lives.  In the modernizing world, development has started using many things that are deadly to the earth and the environment.  There is a close relationship between humans and the environment.  Life is not possible without nature.  But it is nature that man is damaging.  The environment is constantly being polluted, affecting public life as well as causing natural disasters.
 For a happy and healthy life, protection of nature and preservation of the environment is essential.  World Environment Day is celebrated every year for this purpose.
 World Environment Day is celebrated every year in the month of June.  Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 across the world including India.  On this occasion, all countries organize environmental awareness programs in different ways.
 World Environment Day was started in 1972.  The United Nations celebrated the first Environment Day on June 5, 1972. Since then, it has been observed every year.
