National Desk:
Mizoram has been declared the happiest state in the country.  This claim is made in a study by Rajesh K Pillania, professor of strategy at the Management Development Institute in Gurugram.  According to the report, the state, which is the second state in India to achieve 100 per cent literacy, gives its students the opportunity to develop even in difficult circumstances.
The Mizoram Happiness Index is based on six criteria, the report said.  These include family relationships, work-related issues, social and public interest issues, religion, the impact of COVID-19 on happiness, physical and mental health.
