International Chess Federation has conferred the Grandmaster title on Indian chess player Vaishali Ramesh Babu

Indian chess player Vaishali Ramesh Babu has been officially conferred the title of Grandmaster by the International Chess Federation, FIDE.  After Koneru Hampi and Harika Dronavalli, Vaishali is the third Indian female grandmaster to achieve this feat.

 The title of Grandmaster is also a unique honor for Vaishali, as she and her brother, Rameshbabu Pragyanand, have become the world's first Grandmaster brother-sister duo.
