BCCI To Plant 500 Trees For Every Dot Ball In IPL Playoff

National desk:

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to plant 500 trees for each dot ball that will be played in Playoff matches.
The first match of the playoff stage was between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. During the first playoff match, for every dot ball, the icon on tv was changed from a dot to a tree graphic.
Later, commentators clarified that BCCI has decided to plant 500 trees for each dot ball that will be played in Playoff matches, which is why the graphic display of dot balls was replaced by a tree. The Qualifier 1 between GT and CSK got 42,000 saplings, thanks to 84 dot balls, tweeted BCCI Secretary Jay Shah.
CSK beat Gujarat Titans by 15 runs to enter the IPL finale for the 10th time.
