Four prisoners in Agra Central Jail in Uttar Pradesh have passed the UP Board examination with good marks. Two jail inmates have passed the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) high school examination with first class. Veeru, who passed first division in high school, is serving a sentence for murder. While in jail, Veeru prepared for the board examination. Prisoners in Central Jail expressed happiness after the results came out.
Prisoners in the jail have congratulated Viru. Veeru is a resident of Firozabad. He has scored 67 per cent marks in the high school examination. Besides Viru, Jitendra of Firozabad also took his high school examination while in Central Jail. Jitendra is convicted in the Central Jail for kidnapping and raping the girl for marriage. He has scored 63.8 per cent.
Keran, who is in Central Jail on murder charges, had taken the intermediate examination. He is a resident of Etmadpur. He has scored 48 percent. Along with Keran, Kamal from Shikohabad had also taken the intermediate examination in Central Jail. Kamal has got 42% marks. He is convicted of dowry murder.
